Pure style living

The province of Almeria is located in the south-east of Spain, in the eastern part of Andalusia, it opens to the Mediterranean Sea with Cabo de Gata as a point of reference. It is connected to the North of Africa by the Alboran Sea, which has been known and appreciated by sailors since ancient times. A precious sea, clear, clean and warm, of which you will never want to leave and where you can enjoy the last untouched beaches of the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

Almería is one of the places with the most sunny days in all of Spain, with about 3.000 hours of sun per year and the fewest cloudy days in the country.

The average temperature over the year is 18º C, in the summer months it even goes up to 25º C.

Almería with its extravagant landscape and its specific climate has been one of the biggest centres for film production in Spain. Not only classic Western movies like "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "For a Few Dollars More", but also "Lawrence of Arabia" and parts of "Indiana Jones" have been filmed here.

Its Mediterranean "flavour", its volcanic landscapes and its wide open spaces, turn the province into a real paradise to discover. Outdoor activities include everything from snorkelling to golf or horseback riding. Trekking is a popular sport among visitors in the region, as it features a range of interesting tracks through the mountainous landscape.
